Since 1990, CRAA has worked in Afghanistan engaging in numerous projects that serve to build infrastructure, agribusiness, and stability. Please take a moment to view a list of projects that we have completed, are currently underway, or proposed.

Rabies Control – including the control of stray dogs and capacity building for treating human victims.

Animal Husbandry and Reforestation for Community Health – a continuation of this very effective program that targets newly repatriated Afghans and the disadvantaged.

Agribusiness Development in the Eastern Zone – the multifaceted approach includes:

• Technical Assistance to producers and producers associations.
• Input supply and credit
• Agricultural research aimed at improving quality and yields of crops
• Post harvest handling
• Agribusiness initiatives aimed at value added processing of regional production
• Strengthening private sector commodity based organizations

Infrastructure Development in the Eastern Zone – project combines actual construction work with the essential precursor: generating community support and participation. Construction work would include:

• Roads and Related Structures
• Major Bridges and drainage structures:
• Irrigation Systems
• Electricity
• Flood Control
• Capacity building of the Construction Sector.
• Capacity building in the public and private sectors to operate and/or maintain public works and community-based productive infrastructure.
